It has not been one of those suffocatingly hot summers in Malta this year.
Strong winds blow out the heat every week or so, probably as the result of reckless industrialization in Indonesia, or somewhere similar.
But that just makes things more pleasant for us on this little rock, as there's not been the need for energy-draining air-cons to sleep at night.
And yes, the water is just fine.
Just dive right in and you're swimming with the fishes, but not in a mafiosa type of way.
The sea around Malta is as clear and clean as you will find anywhere in Europe, so dive in.
